Seven chapters of the original plan.
01Lava fields & waterfalls+
The original first day connects Fagradalsfjall with Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfrabúi. The roadbook includes activity timing, navigation and provisions for the following day.
02Black sand & blue ice+
The second day includes Skógafoss, Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara, followed by the original glacier-hike plan at Falljökull and a visit to the glacial lagoon and Diamond Beach.
03The glacier lagoon & the east+
The third day includes the original Fjallsárlón boat activity plan, Stokksnes and Vestrahorn, and an east-fjords section.
04Canyon, waterfall & geothermal landscape+
The fourth day brings together Stuðlagil canyon, Dettifoss and Hverir. The original page explains how these stops fit into its route.
05A highland chapter+
The fifth day includes the Kjölur crossing, Hveravellir, Kerlingarfjöll and Hveradalir, then Gullfoss and Geysir. This is part of the original plan, not current confirmation that the roads or activities are available.
06Silfra & Reykjavík+
The sixth day contains the original Silfra snorkelling plan and a Reykjavík section. Participation requirements and activity availability need to be reviewed for any new trip.
07An unhurried final morning+
The final chapter deliberately leaves the morning without a rushed driving sequence. The original roadbook remains the reference for its specific arrangements.
